Dr. Virginia M. Hurley, CMC, PCC, PCAC
Dr. Virginia Hurley is a positive psychology practitioner, ICF Certified Life Coach, Certified Mentor Coach, and Certified ADHD coach who specializes in time management, goal setting, and transitions. Dr. Hurley works with adult professionals in all sectors of business; her international practice serves clients from Argentina to Australia. She has additional specialized training in Health and Wellness
Clients include major high tech companies, medical practitioners, mental health and physical therapists, naturopaths, and functional medicine specialists. Dr. Hurley also works with teens, college students and families, as well as company managers, entrepreneurs, small business owners, and non-profits.
She specializes in time management, goal setting, and transitions. Her research interests include cognitive neuroscience, Internal Family Systems, and integrated health and wellness, cognitive neuroscience, and studies in will power and self-compassion.
She is the author of TimeSavor Coaching: A Positive Psychology Approach to ADHD (Oct. 2011). Dr. Hurley recently served on the Board of Directors of the ADHD Coaches Organization (ACO) and was Chair of the ACO Research Committee.
Dr. Hurley began her career in education as an English teacher in New York City public schools. Her work led her to teacher training, then administration. Upon retiring from public education, she began a career as a certified life coach, using her experiences as teacher, teacher trainer, administrator, and as a parent, in her practice.
